Metabolic support (no linseed, with spirulina) is an equal blend of five herbs/supplements, Cinnamon, Milk Thistle seed power, Rosehips, 90% purity magnesium oxide and spirulina. This blend is useful for laminitics, and horses with Equine Metabolic Syndrome (EMS).

Cinnamon and magnesium oxide help to break down fatty deposits. Rosehips help to cleanse the body of toxins, and support the kidneys, liver and circulatory systems. Milk thistle supports correct function of the liver. Spirulina is a nutritionally dense blue-green algae that is used as an equine supplement to support horses with immune or respiratory needs.

Our cinnamon powder is from Cinnamomum verum, also know as Cinnamomum zeylanicum, colloquially called true cinnamon tree or Ceylon cinnamon.
