Lite Lick Beetroot 300g

Our Lite Lick mixes are a low calorie option that can to be used with lick mats for behavioural enrichment. Lick mats are textured mats designed to hold spreads, pastes, or treats, encouraging horses to lick and forage slowly. They provide mental stimulation, reduce boredom, and promote relaxation.

Our Lite Licks Beetroot pack contains 225g of high fibre mash pellets and 75g beetroot powder. Just mix with water to make a paste, 400ml of warm water added to 100g of the blend makes a thick paste, more can be added to suit. Then apply to your chosen lick mat and place in your horse's feed bowl or directly on the floor.
