Linseed Lick Mix Pack 6 x 300g

Our Linseed Lick mixes are to be used with lick mats for behavioural enrichment. Lick mats are textured mats designed to hold spreads, pastes, or treats, encouraging horses to lick and forage slowly. They provide mental stimulation, reduce boredom, and promote relaxation.

Our Linseed Licks packs contains 225g of micronized linseed and 75g of one of our most popular and tasty herb powders including: beetroot, garlic, fenugreek, rosehips, spearmint and brewers yeast. Just mix with water to make a paste, 300ml of warm water makes a thick paste, more can be added to suit. Then apply to your chosen lick mat and place in your horse's feed bowl or directly on the floor.

Micronized linseed is rich in omega 3,6 and 9 oils and is excellent for weight gain and give a shiny coat! Its also a good source of copper, phosphate, selenium and magnesium. It is a low carbohydrate oil so is good for the laminitic-prone or good doers.
